Linear edge banding is commonly used on simple shaped products such as office furniture and cabinets. When configuring, the main consideration is the increase or decrease in production capacity and some functions, such as adding scraper devices to PVC or ABS edge banding materials; For solid wood edge banding, it is necessary to add a finishing knife and sanding device; To ensure the quality of edge sealing is not affected by low winter temperatures, it is recommended to choose edge sealing machines equipped with far-infrared preheating devices.



Curve edge sealing can be processed using several methods. At present, most manufacturers use manual edge banding machines to process curved edge parts, especially for sheet metal parts with internal arcs. The diameter of the edge banding machine's wheels will determine the depth of large curves that can be processed. Using a manual edge banding machine to seal curved edges has the characteristics of simple operation and minimal usage. However, due to the use of manual edge sealing, the quality is relatively low, mainly manifested in low bonding strength, poor repeatability accuracy, and high rework rate. At the same time, manual edge banding machines are relatively difficult for commonly used thick edge banding strips (1.0-3.0mm), while thin edge banding strips (0.4-1.0mm) used on some invisible components can be processed in straight and curved lines.
