ROHS 3 (2015/863/EU) requires restrictions on 10 categories of hazardous substances, including lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, and phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP). For hot melt adhesive products, the raw materials and finished products are usually tested for these harmful substances.
